Alien Coin Series

Scottsdale Mint expanded their popular Alien series with a striking new design: a grey alien portrait emerging through a dimensional portal. As Creative Lead, I owned the project from initial concept through market launch.

I collaborated with an illustrator to develop the source artwork, then coordinated with sculptors, die creators, and production teams to translate the 2D design into struck coinage. The series spans 6 SKUs across silver and gold, including pieces with rhodium plating, antique finishing, and color proof editions featuring glow-in-the-dark UV ink that illuminates the alien's eyes.

I designed the complete visual identity—logo, packaging system, and Certificates of Authenticity—establishing a cohesive brand world that elevates the collectible experience. Product photography places each coin in dramatic cosmic environments with precision lighting that captures sculptural relief and the signature UV-reactive green eyes.
